Christmas Sundays is one of my favorite. Nothing gets me more into the real spirit of Christmas more then the Sunday before Christmas. It's always a good reminder the the true meaning of Christmas is all about and helps you to not get all caught up in all the "other" stuff. 

I decided to be a little festive but wearing a Green dress and finishing it off with some red lips!

It's Friday! Even though I only worked 1 days this week I am just as excited that it's Friday as if I worked all week! We decided to commit this weekend to finding a house, it's been a little hard being that my husband and I like completely opposite houses. I am hoping he will just give up soon {Shhh} Wish us luck!

On a different note, does anyone get a big shopping bug after Christmas like I do. I have no idea why, for some reason after Christmas I feel like I need to go shop all the sales and get the leftovers of everything that people didn't want for Christmas or more like what they paid full price for and I am getting 50%-60% off!

Some gems that I have found lately is this Hat... I have been looking for a hobo hat like this but of course didn't want to pay more then $5 for it. While browsing the Men section for husband at Target the other day I found a rack of these in all sorts of colors and they were only $3.99!

Oh, don't worry my husband asked if we were now homeless.... {we kind of are}

Another gem I found was this poncho, I will admit this is my first I have ever owned. I was a little hesitant at first but I am convinced that they are the most comfy thing ever. This one has buttons that you can make a whole for your arm or you can unbutton them which makes it more like a cape{is what I call it} and seriously, most comfy thing ever.

Three Ways To Wear {Polka Dots}....

Again I couldn't be more excited to be teaming up with Ginny from My New Favorite outfit & Kallee from Kallee Mae to share with you a few different fashion trends. This week we are talking Polka Dots...... I am sure you can already tell how much I love Polka Dots so I was looking forward to this week!

Usually when fitting polka dots into your wardrobe they normally found on either a sweater, tee, button up, or even a scarf. Well, when I came a cross these pants on one of my favorite websites I knew I needed them. Why not throw some dots on your bottom half?? They are so much fun to wear cause I usually pair them with whatever and not to mention probably the most comfy pair of leggings I own. I decided this time to layer up the top with a tee, chambray button up and then a blazer finishing it off with a different pattern scarf. It was pretty windy {hence the crazy hair} so these layers sure came in handy. If you don't already home polka dots in your wardrobe I suggest you hurry and get some because they can make an appearance all year long.

The whole Christmas Look {Guest Post}....

Today, I am so excited to share with you one of my favorite make-up artist and " real life" friend. Ixchell has just started up a blog over at The Weekly Makeup Challenge. This girl is amazing at what she does, with many years in the make-up industry. I shared a room with her in college and it was every girls make-up dream, she had every eye color, lip color a girl could dream of. The little that I know about make-up I learn from this little lady.

{Firmoo}.....

Remember that one time when I told you my secret about needing glasses but wearing fake ones instead.

Well, Firmoo came to my rescue.

Not only do they have cute styles for men and women but they are also very reasonable in pricing. I think that's why it took me so long to get glasses is because I was in denial of my blindness and then to spend a arm and a leg to get a cute pair was out of the question. However, for those that have perfect vision they also offer non prescription.

You guys, seriously a whole new world opened up when putting on these babies... I didn't realize how bad my eye sight was and what I was missing out on until I got these.

Not to mention I was told I looked like a chic nerd.... Thanks... I guess!

Three Ways To Wear {Plaid}....

This week, along with Ginny from My New Favorite Outfit & Kallee from Kallee Mae, we are talking PLAID and showing different ways to style it.

This season plaid has been one of my favorite go to prints. It looks great by itself as a casual look, layered up, or even to get all dressy. When I saw this top at J. Crew I knew that I needed it for my holiday attire. I think one of my favorite things about plaid is that it usually has different colors which makes it easy to pair it with just about anything.

Dear Santa.....

Last night I hosted our annual girlfriend Christmas party. We have all been best friends since Jr. High and started this tradition the first year out of high school and have continued it. It was so much fun getting together and catching up on each others crazy lives. This year instead of swapping names for a gift exchange we decided to do a "Favorite Things". Everyone had to bring something that was their favorite thing to give to each person. It was so much fun and we got a lot of goodies. My favorite thing that I brought was one of those sock bun squishy things. I used to just use a actual sock but after trying this{which main purpose is for a sock bun not for putting on your foot} I feel in love. I also added in a Luna bar which is my all time favorite protein bar. Such a fun night and also an excuse to dress festival for the holidays!
