Lets talk Lips......

Okay Ladies, lets talk lips! I along with many thought I could never pull off the bright lip stick. I mean come on I wore it in high school for dance competition and even then thought it was way too much. So when this whole lip stick trend came out I was like, "No way, not me". Well things change, I love all the bright colors and even the natural. It makes you feel so much more feminine and can add so much to a look adding that little pop of color. It can also change to mood of the look from casual to dressy!

So you guys that are shaking you head saying, "No way I could never." Run on over to the local Drug Store, start with a lighter shade{or go big} and schmear that baby on. You may feel like a little girl again playing dress up but you'll get over it and trust me, no one is starring at you lips, thats all in your head. They are starring at your beautiful eyes!

Why did this weekend have to end?

I loved getting to spend time with family and eating delicious food. Then of course all the fun activities which included going to dinner and a movie with my family, going to Temple Square to see the lights and just being with my little family all weekend!

Also do you remember how I wasn't going to go Black Friday Shopping?....... Well I caved and I went. Those of you that were cuddled up in your bed were missing all the fun. Not only where there great deals but all the crazies {including myself} comes out during those hours and are hilarious! Yes, I am guilty of buying stuff I do not need... but really how do you turn down those good deals?

Why did this weekend have to end?

Only good thing about it ended is that its that much closer to Thanksgiving weekend. Stuffing your face, spending time with family, shopping and more shopping it just doesn't get much better then that. This year I have told myself that I am not doing the whole midnight standing in line stuff. Actually it's now moved to like 5PM on Thanksgiving. However, I tell myself that and then I lay in bed not being able to sleep because I know I am missing out on all the excitement so end up going anyways. Half of the time I don't even need any of the stuff but go because I just want in on all the fun and end up leaving with bags full of stuff I didn't need in the first place. So we will see how much willpower I have this year not to go.

Anyways, I hope you all had an amazing weekend. We had family pictures this weekend which you can only imagine how much stress it was. Why are pictures so stressful? Any advice?

Oversized Sweater.......

Life has been a little crazy that I totally forgot to post what my challenge this week was. Don't worry I had it all set up but it didn't dawn on me until mid week that I never informed anyone what my challenge was. So I guess it was my little personal challenge. I figured I'll post my results!

So, ya know how big, oversized sweaters are in this season. I love them. They are as comfy as my husbands hoodies except they are more presentable is what I like to call it! Also, they can be so fun to dress up with boots, scarfs, hats & accessories. I have found a few that I have liked but my faovirte has been the 2 I found this week.....

These babies came straight form my dads closet and will be staying in mine for the rest of the season {He was getting ready to throw them out}. I actually had my eye on a similar one that I originally found from Pintrest which was way overly priced. Glad I discovered these gems before convincing myself I "needed" it. So, I challenge you to go do a little shopping in you dads, bothers, grandpas or husbands closet. You'll never know what you'll find.

Last trip post from this trip I promise!

I just had to show you my favorite necklace that I found at Zara. I love that store! The closest Zara to were I live is about 6 hours away (Las Vegas). I seriously try to convince my husband to take weekend trips there just to go shopping. He doesn't fall for it! So, come on ZARA make your way to the good ol Rockey Mountains {Utah}. Anyways, my trip obviously came to an end which I was sad to come back to real life but so excited to see Hadlee. Vacation without her is fun for the first few hours and then we just miss her too much. Our last stop was Palma Spain which was my favorite of all the stops. We flew out of Nice so we got to explore around there for awhile. It was such a fun trip!
