Happy Halloween.....

Halloween is one of my favorite holidays.
Not so much my husbands, but as you can tell he has been a very good sport and has come a long way. I am pretty sure he is starting to enjoy dressing up just as much as me.
 Being the crazy that I am, I usually start thinking of our costume in July. Yes, I know crazy but I just get way too excited. Since Halloween is during the week we celebrated over the weekend with my sisters party and a get together with good friends. Tonight we are planning on getting dinner and Trick or Treating with Hads which I am so excited for. She has been waiting all month for this!

My parents, husband & I planned a last minute Mediterranean Cruise. That's one of the many perks about working for the airline is that because you can book last minute, Cruise are always super cheap. We flew into to Genoa Italy, jumped on the ship and first stop ROME!

It was just what a pictured. Very Historical. Some of the places we went were the Coliseum, Vatican City, Spanish Steps, Trevi Fountain, and many many more.

Like I mentioned before, I was so unprepared for the weather, packing boots, scarfs, coats, sweaters, when really I needed shorts & flip flops.

Due to this you can see how I transition my outfit by changing from boots, to flats and removal of the scarf. This was the only day I attempted to wear what was planned.

I am back!!! 

As much as I love seeing the world I missed my baby way too much and was ready to get home and see that little face. However, our trip was amazing and something I am so blessed to have done.

I can't wait to share pictures. I decided I would hold off one more week on a weekly Challenge so that I can catch up on our trip.

When we got back we were welcomed by FREEZING weather. For the first time I wasn't complaining too much being that I had a bag packed up unworn warm clothes. That's right guys I, for the first time was completely unprepared on this trip.

Lets just put it this way..... that stupid Iphone weather app lied, that's right, flat out lied. Leaving my mom and I with coats, sweaters, & boots in about 90 degree weather. I have never been so desperate for a pair of flip flops which took me until day 5 to finally find a pair. Which I paid way too much for. Anyone looking to start a business, sell flip flops in Europe.

Besides that little road block it was amazing.

I was honored to be asked by my cousin to be a bridesmaid. She let us pick out our own dress, just told us what color. I couldn't  have been more excited, not only do I think its better for the bridesmaid to get to pick out a dress that they actually like and will wear again, I personally like the look of it when they all have different styles. But that's just my opinion. Anyways, being that I was looking for a navy dress in the summer wasn't the easiest thing. Until I found this beauty! I am obsessed with the peplum fit. It is classy and form fitting.  I also discovered one of my new favorite shore Dorothy Perkins. If you haven't check it out yet then go. There is about 30 dresses I want. I love that most all of their dresses are knee length and classy. Hopefully Santa will have some in his toy shop for me {Yes, already thinking of Christmas}.

Can I just say I am obsessed with this little Missy! I mean really who couldn't be! She is at that age where she does and says the funniest things. Some things I probably should be laughing about but I just can't help it. Up till the last few months getting her picture taken was not her favorite thing. That has all changed, not only does she always say, "Take my picture" she has now got her own "pose" & yelled, "CHEEEEEEEESE".

Oh Gosh I just love her!

Anyways, on a different note I love dressing her. Way back when{a few months ago} I did a post on child fashion which I hope to be better at doing because lets be honest who doesn't want to look at cute kids in cute little clothes? All I got to say is why are little clothes so much cuter, it makes it so hard to turn it down!

When I think of wool, winter comes to mind. Although I am not at all ready for the winter months I was sure excited when I found this wool skirt. So cozy! Since Friday ended up being freezing and rainy this outfit worked perfectly being that we waiting outside for a good while at my cousins wedding.... oh the things we do for the bride :)

Great news is we all made it half way through the week!

Wednesdays are kind of  a love hate day being that we still have two more days till the weekend!

One thing I love to do on Sundays especially in the cold month is come home from Church, immediately take off my dress and throw on sweats, socks, and husbands sweater! Nothing like cuddling up for a Sunday nap and movie! This Sunday we went to my in-laws for a birthday dinner and this was what I brought myself to wear to keep it comfy yet not my husbands over sized clothes!
