We finally got our first snow storm last week. The snow didn't excite me like it did a lot of people but getting to officially wear my boots and scarfs without dripping in sweat got me excited. I will admit, if I went without snow over the holidays I would be a little sad. So I have prepared myself and ready or not.... here some the snowy, cold months!

Happy Halloween weekend! This is one of my favorite holidays and we don't just celebrate one day, we celebrate it ALL 31 days! We have done so many fun activities this month and I don't want it to end. This Pumpkin patch was one of our favorites. Good think pumpkins stick around during November cause I am not ready to say goodbye.

Mixing Fall Patterns......

Whether its stripes, plaids, polka dots, solids, or any other favorite patterns, DON'T be afraid to mix and match them. They all go together in my opinion!

Plaids and Dresses...

Sometimes I find it hard to transition my dresses into the cooler months. A lot of my maxi shirts or dresses I wear with flip flop or sandals and so when the temperatures drop and it's too cold for flip flops or sandals I throw on some booties. My new favorite thing it to tie a knot in my long dresses so that it shoes my boots better. Also, don't be afraid of throwing on some socks or tights!!

Its Friday and I hope everyone has some fun plans for this weekend. The first weekend of October has always been one of my favorites. Its the beginning to my favorite month of the year!!

First Day of Fall..

Well if you live in Utah then you know Fall showed its true colors for the first day of Fall. It didn't hold back. I am praying just a little that it's not a sign of how the rest of Fall is going to go as well as Winter. Don't get me wrong, I LOVE the Fall but.... not the rainy and freezing side of it.... save that for the Winter. However, this weather does make me excited for Fall fashion trends. I love the scarf trend that is coming back.... well for me at least it is. I sorta feel like a cowgirl or a flight attendant but I secretly like it. It just adds that little something to a simple look. I am also currently obsessing over the lace up ballet flats..... (HEART EYES x 100)

Last night we kicked off Fall at my daughters Fall Festival. We almost got blown away by the wind but the kids didn't mind and would have stayed there all night if we let them.
