One thing I learned about buying Maternity clothes, is to buy something that you can also wear when you don't have babe in the oven. With my first baby I just couldn't justify spending money on clothes that I knew I wasn't going to wear that much longer nor did I absolutely love. With my second baby I learned to buy them early on in the pregnancy so that I actually got my moneys worth AND to find things that I could wear after such as this dress.

I hope you all are enjoying the long weekend! Besides spending time with my family and honoring those who have passed on, I loved all the sales happening this weekend.

Some sales that I took advantage of this weekend was

OLD NAVY: Up to 50% off everything 

I actually got these pants there. Saw them in the sales section and they did not catch my eye. However, I was totally meant to buy them because in my dressing room was a pair hanging in my size. I figured what they heck, might as well try them on. And seriously, I am obsessed. The fabric is almost a velvet type and SO SO SO comfy and cute. Goes to show, you NEVER know unless you try it on!

J. Crew Factory: EVERYTHING is 50%

Nordstroms: Half Yearly Sale!!! Up to 40% off Men's, Women's, and Kids.

I am sure there are lots more, these are just those ones I was able to take advantage of this weekend!

Can't part with them?!....

I have mentioned it before... I even did a post about it HERE.

If you are like me, you have lost pieces of clothing... in your OWN closet. However, not entirely. I try to go through my closet at least once a year to see if there are things that are just too worn out or those few things that no matter if it ever comes back in style you swear to yourself you will never be caught dead in it. I once did that with all my OVERALLS.... no way were those EVER going to come back in style. Well, if you haven't seen, they totally are back. AND I want some!! Haven't been able to find the perfect ones yet but I am on the hunt.

Anyway, back to what I was talking about, those lost items. Although, I try to get ride of stuff there are those few items that even though I haven't worn it 10+ years, I just can't part with. This skirt being one. Not that I thought it was out of style ( not many styles of skirts go out of style, which is WHY I love them) but because it wasn't one of those things that caught my eye. I never knew what top to wear it with which made it just keep getting pushed further back into my closet. 
Well, I was determined to wear something I hadn't for a while so I put it on, threw on a shirt that I didn't care if it matched or not and LOVED IT! 

So, I challenge you!

Just tell yourself that you are going to wear that one shirt or dress that you just can't give up. It's just for a day and if by the end of that day you didn't love it.... chuck it. You will probably discover a new love for it and put it back into your closet for another 10 years! Oh well.... Your husbands side of the closet still has room right???

It's clear to see that dresses and skirts are my all time favorite and "go to" outfit to wear in the Spring and Summer. This J. Crew skirt is my all time favorite and I can't help but buy a new color ever time I go into the store or look online. So, if you are like me and always looking for a cute and comfy skirt then look no further!

As you may be able to tell, I don't get out much.... Target is where my shopping consist of. I am not like all you over achiever moms out there. Just the though of taking my kids to the mall is exhausting to me. But that's totally fine because Target has been hittin it out of the park with all of their new spring and summer clothing!

I have recently started bribing my children with popcorn, icee, and whatever else there is just to keep them entertained while I rush through EVERY isle at Target. Yes, you heard right EVERY isle which I hope you do too because if you do you know that there are secret sale stuff all over 
Target which sometimes are SUPER SUPER cheap!! I tell my kids it s treasure hunt.
